FAQ

  • What should I bring with me?
    While we provide many of the necessities for an incredible glamping experience, we ask that you bring along your own: > Food and Drinks > Clothes > Toiletries > And anything else you'd personally like to have!
  • Are pets allowed?
    While we love our furry friends, we do not allow pets inside the tents to ensure they stay clean and damage free.
  • What if I need to cancel my reservation?
    Cancellations made twelve (12) days ahead of the delivery/set-up date can be completely refunded. Deposit amount (half of the total cost) will not be refunded for cancellations made less than twelve (12) from delivery/set-up date. This means that if the total price has already been paid, half will be refunded to the customer and half will be retained by Happy Glamper due to the late cancellation. Any campground fees associated with the booking will not be refunded as the majority of campground fees are non-refundable. Any other refunds are at the sole discretion of the owners.
  • What if it rains?
    Our tents are weatherproof and can still be enjoyed in the rain. Refunds will not be issued for rain. However, we are happy to work with you on rescheduling if there is inclement weather in the forecast.
  • What should I do to keep the tent clean and damage free?
    > We ask that you leave your shoes at the door to ensure cleanliness and protection of the tent. > Please be extra careful with any food or drinks inside the tent and do not leave them unattended. Any messy foods/drinks (e.g. s'mores, chocolate, peanut butter, etc.) should be kept outside the tent at all times to avoid any damage or unwanted bugs and critters. > Please no pets or animals inside the tent. > Any throw pillows in the tent are intended as decor, and for sanitary purposes, should not be slept on. > Nail polish, slime, pens, markers, paint, and other messy substances should never be used inside or near the tent.
  • What if I damage the tent or other item?
    If damage occurs to the tent or any other items provided by Happy Glamper during your use, a fee in proportion to the damage will be required.
  • How do I book a glamping experience?
    1. Go to the “Book Now” page and fill out the information regarding your stay. 3. Once your “Book Now” form has been submitted we will send you an email with information on how to pay and other important details. 4. Once you have paid we will send another email confirming your booking and other important information about your glamping experience. Please be sure to read these emails fully.
  • What forms of payment do you take?
    We take payments via Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, and credit card (PayPal).
  • When do I pay?
    We require a down payment of half the total price upon booking. Final payments must be made no later than 2 weeks (14 days) prior to scheduled delivery/set-up date. You are also welcome to pay the total price in full at booking.
  • When should I arrive at the campground?
    We will provide you with details regarding your stay in an email after booking. Typically, our delivery (check-in) time is 4:00pm, but may be changed depending on the campground. Please do not arrive to the tent site earlier than the specified time due to limited parking and space at many campgrounds. This also allows us ample space and time to set up your tent properly.
  • What about electricity and water?
    Many campgrounds have electric and water hook-ups on site. Please specify at time of booking whether you would like an electric or non-electric site. Our booking of sites with electric and water are subject to the campground’s availability. Go to our “Campground Glamping” page and scroll down to see which local campgrounds have these options.
  • What about restrooms and showers?
    The majority of campgrounds have bathhouses with both restrooms and showers. If you would like a tent site closer to a bathhouse please specify at time of booking (subject to availability). Please also remember to bring towels and toiletries for your stay.
  • Do I have to set the tent up myself?
    Nope! We provide delivery, set-up (including furnishings inside if applicable), and tear down of our tents. We take away all of the hassle of camping. Just show up and enjoy!
  • What time will my tent be delivered and picked up?
    Our standard delivery is 4:00pm and our pick-up is 11:00am. We can adjust these times depending on your need.
  • How far do you travel for delivery and set-up?
    We happily deliver within 20 miles of our Virginia Beach location. However, we are happy to deliver outside that area for an additional fee (travel fee based on mileage). If you are interested in our service outside our general delivery area, please call or text us at (270) 625-3628!
  • How should I prepare my yard for delivery?
    > If we are delivering a glamping set-up to your private property, please ensure that there is a reasonably flat, 30 foot diameter of clear space available. > Please ensure the set-up space is free of pet waste.
  • How big must my yard or set-up location be?
    Please ensure that the set-up location is reasonably flat and at least 30 feet in diameter.
